The Medina 2-Meter (M2M) Group, Inc., DBA the Medina County Amateur Radio Club, was incorporated in State of Ohio in 1975 as a non-profit, 501 (c) (7), organization and has been continuously active.
We are ARRL registered, Special Service Club, dedicated to public service, education and fellowship.
We have several members who are national and state HF contest winners, among home-brewers, rag-chewers and antenna builders. Solar power is set up at Field Day, and digital communication is the focus of many.
M2M has sponsored Amateur Radio licensing classes and exam sessions.
As a club, we also work closely with The National Weather Service (Sky Warn), FEMA, ARES/MECARS and County emergency drills, and assist with community events such as bicycle and foot races.
M2M operates and maintains the W8EOC repeaters that are open to all licensed Hams.
Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at either the Medina County Senior Center or the Medina County Career (JVS) Center.
