Field Day, Ham Radio’s open house, is June 28 & 29th, and is described by the ARRL as, “..the most popular on-the-air event held annually in the US and Canada. Held on the fourth weekend of June, more than 31,000 radio amateurs gather with their clubs, groups, or simply with friends to operate from remote locations.”
The MCARC will set up at Valley City Mill Stream Park,1200 Maple St, Valley City, OH 44280, and is open to the public, starting at 1:00pm on Saturday. With six field-installed antennas, off grid transceivers, and a host of operators on air for nearly 24 hours, it is a testament about how critical Amateur Radio is in emergency communications. Plan on coming out to learn, operate, or support our Club.
